Which products should I use for my skin type?
Annabelles Natural offers a range of products to suit different types of skin, varying needs and a range of tastes and preferences. However, it can be a little confusing trying to decide just what is right for you. As a guideline we have put together some suggested combinations of products based on different skin types. | Why do I need to apply my moisturiser to a damp face? |
 |
Our skin needs water and we need to help to replace water that has been lost. Many moisturisers contain a high percentage of water which helps to hydrate the skin and also helps to make the moisturiser spread more easily. However, once a product includes water, it also needs to have a preservative added, and the product can no longer be 100% natural. To avoid compromising our natural products, we do not add water of any sort to our moisturisers.
While this produces concentrated, superior nourishment for your skin, we need you to add the water to hydrate your skin. For this reason we ask you to apply your moisturiser to damp skin. We highly recommend spraying the skin with one of our natural hydrosols so that you can also gain the benefits inherent in these lovely, fragrant waters. Once you have sprayed your face with hydrosol, lightly massage your moisturiser into the skin and let it drink up the nourishment and the water. | |

Will my skin need to adapt to your products? |
|
Some of our customers do find that they go through an adaptation or detoxification period when they first start to use our products. Because our natural products are very nourishing, they improve the health of your skin. Healthy skin will 'push out' toxins that would otherwise lie in the lower layers of the skin. This can result in temporary breakouts, but should settle down once your skin has detoxified.
Healthy skin is also efficient at releasing dead skin cells. If your skin has been a little less than healthy then it will have a build of dead skin. As your skin becomes healthier it will shed these dead cells and may result in your skin looking a little dry and scaly while it refreshes itself.
These symptoms of detoxification are more likely to occur if you also use one of our masks, as our clay masks draw out toxins and loosen dead skin cells. If you think that you may be prone to these reactions, then we recommend that you use our skin care products for a month before using your new mask. This will give it time to adapt, refresh and regenerate. Your mask will then simply be a helping hand to regularly remove toxins before they become an issue.
Please remember that nobody knows your skin as well as you do, and even though our products are natural, it is still possible to have an allergic reaction. Learn to 'read' your skin and if you think that it is showing signs of an allergic reaction then please stop using the products, or maybe start slowly with one product at a time. The reactions described above are normal and temporary but if you are experiencing raw, red skin or rashes, you are probably having an allergic reaction and should stop using the products immediately.
Nobody wants to get extra pimples or flaky skin, but please remember that detoxification is very good for your skin and is only temporary. Our customers who have persevered through this stage are all very happy that they did because now they are reaping the rewards of healthy, supple, clear skin. Normal detoxification period is usually between 2 and 4 weeks as you skin completely renews itself in this time. |

Can I buy your products from a shop?

Currently our products are only available directly from us, either through our Internet site, through our office, or from our Consultants either by phoning them or by having an Annabelles Natural party.
Because our products are all natural and we want you to gain the full benefits of their natural, concentrated ingredients, we want them to reach you in as fresh a state as possible.
We do not want our lovely, fresh products sitting on the shelf in a shop waiting for you to come along and purchase them. We want you to get them in the freshest state possible, and at this stage the only way we can ensure that is to sell them to you directly or through our Consultants who will place an order and get your product to you as soon as possible. |

How can I see, feel and try your products before I buy?
We would love you to see, feel, try and smell our products, from then on they sell themselves. We have a group of friendly, knowledgeable consultants in the Sydney and Wollongong areas who would love to come and show you our products.
